Room was clean and comfortable. However TV didn`t work, the bath taps only gave out hot water, and even on the top floor you could hear the music from the bar/ entertainment area until the early hours. If you get a good rate and don`t plan on spending much time in the room then you`ll be fine.
A very clean and roomy hotel, and only a 2 min walk to the main /high street and a quick 5 mins to the popular Temple Bar area. The hotel is situated right on the River Liffy, With the "Hop on and Hop off" sight seeing tour buses stopping right outside the hotel. Breakfast was one of the best I`ve had in a long time in a hotel (22 years a chef myself). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not many hotels would offer to print a map off for you to get to a venue. the offer of looking after/storing baggage for several hours was most welcome when we had a late afternoon departure flight. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would certainly use it again.
I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Dublin
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Entertainment excellent.Food good. We definatley enjoyed our stay and will without any hesitation book the Arlington O Connell again in the near future if available
Quality service, quality staff, quality hotel!

Stayed 3 nights mid week, Tuesday to Friday. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening entertainment was typicaly Irish, great atmosphere and the Celtic Irish Dancers were a delight. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break with close proximity to Dublin City Centre. Food was great and the service very friendly.
We had a lovely time at the Arlington and the staff were extremely helpful. Enjoyed the music and dancing, fantastic atmosphere
this hotel is very central two everything and has excellent interment at night,it is also very clean and good food
the staff were very helpfull and professional
A comfortable hotel, cheerful, friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely return especially for the excellent location.
Fantastic staff, meals, location and show. A must for anyone who wants to be well situated, enabling to enjoy Dublin!
2nd time iv stayed and is absolutly brilliant!!!!
All staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean and tidy. The bar /restaurant area was excellend and had a lovely atmosphere. The hotel is located in an excellent area - very close for both O`Connell Street area and Temple Bar. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Dublin who wishes to stay in a central location and I would certainly use this hotel again if visiting in the future.
very attentive ,freindly staff good value for money great location, andgood entertainment
An excellent hotel, perfect location easy access to all shopping, leisure and transport facilities. Entertainment within the hotel was first class. Food excellent.
would recommend to our family and friends 10 out of 10 thanks for a great time
Nice staff, quick check in. Residents bar closes pretty early but very pleasant. Room was nice, clean, but alot of noise from large fans outside the room & with no way to control the room temp ithe window had to stay opened. Shower was tiny & wasn`t fond of a shower curtain sticking to me as I tried to wash. Location is excellent & the price is right.
A very good overall standard. I have stayed here before. Some staff remembered me from 4 years ago. Food was excellent, staff very helpful, room cleaned and tidy every day. Average prices for drinks, entertainment was First class well worth seeing. Worth every Euro.Central location, very close for buses and local trains. I even met the Owner.
The rooms were basic and a little disappointing. The hot tap in the bathroom didn`t work but was fixed promptly. The toilet needed flushing a few times to clear toilet roll. The main light in the room didn`t work. The room we were in was at the back and when looking out of the window there was a burnt out building opposite. The noise from the alleyway at the back was quite bad. There were large bins rattling along and it seems this was a noisy smoke area. On the plus side the staff were very friendly, there was a good atmosphere and the bar and downstairs nightclub made the stay for us. The location is good and we ate one meal there which was average. It`s a shame the rooms are a little bit of a let down!
This is a great hotel location-wise, right by the river and just a short walk from buses to and from the airport. The room was okay but our double bed was two single beds pushed together. The main downside to Arlington O`Connell is the noise - the bottom floor contains the Cougar Club, which at the weekend was belting out `80s music at an incredible volume until early in the morning. Shutting the window made very little difference to the thumping bass so be warned. If you can get a discount it`s probably worth it for the location but I`ll be looking for a different hotel next time I`m in Dublin.
our rooms were next to a very noisey hostel up an alleyway at side of hotel and nightclub in hotel was very noisey until two in the morning.
My partner and i stayed in the hotel over the weekend and had an excellent time! Perfect location, bar down stairs is very lively - irish music and dancing everynight with a great priced 3 course meal. Good food - dinner & breakfast. Great bar, service, reception. SHuttle to and from the airport is a good deal!! oNLY bad point was on the saturday night it was very noisy until about 2am but then fine..
Rooms were lovely and clean. Staff were friendly. Ideal location, just across the road from the Temple Bar district. Will definately be back.
Staff were wonderful and was a good experience overall (plus free wifi!) but the bed sheets had a stain on them.
The food and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would do anythin they can to help. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Going back to same Hotel in August.
wonderful atmospheric place. It is not a holiday inn that is why it is wonderful!!!!!
Some minor repairs were needed to room - which were undertakne promptly once reported.
staff very friendly and helpfull, hotel good value for money
The staff were very helpful during our stay, in spite of them being under pressure due to how busy the hotel was over the weekend of the Ireland v Scotland 6 Nations Rugby international
