Me and my daughter stayed for 6 nights and found all the staff helpful and friendly. The hotel is very central to the city and our room was lovely with maid service every day would come back again.
Very good hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The only problem was the train and tram lines run right next to the hotel and the noise was enough to wake you up and the train seemed to be running most of the night. Other than that couldn`t fault the hotel or the staff.
would definitely use the Isaac`s Hotel again. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast was very good.It was also only a short walk from the hotel to O`Connell St. The only drawback was the noise from the railway.
room clean.beds comfortable, tea, coffee, milk every day.v good clean towels every day. Only down side was the noise. Our room next to bus, taxi and tram station plus noise from drunks outside otherwise good location(handy for bus tram etc) Restaurant always busy so didnt use it but heard it was very good. Cafe/bar very nice.
As a group we had 4 rooms all of which looked nothing like the ones pictured. Grotty bathrooms with loose and cracked floor tiles, poorly maintained and bodged up. Gloomy (even on a sunny day) rooms which are overdue refurbishment had an old portable TV with only 4 local channels, backed onto the elevated DART railway which had noisy trains from 7am till 11pm. Reception offer currency exchange (worst rate) but when asked could not oblige as there was apparently no money in the till?? The bar was ok and the restaurant looked fine, although we didn`t dine there. I have stayed in Dublin many times, at short notice was unable to book my preferred hotel, The Trinity Capital, which, at the same price, makes the Isaacs look like a 1 star hotel.
Fantastic hotel great value and location. Only comment would be that our room was noisy as it was next to the gym. Restaurant excellent and a nice bar area. Overall a great place to stay.
Very good location if you accept the noise of the passing train. Clean and good value for money. Helpful staff; we arrived earlier than check-in time and were given our rooms immediately. The restaurant serves very good food but charges 10 per cent service charge for groups of 6 or more. However we would stay there again. but charges a 10 per cent service surcharge for groups of 6 or more.
Staff welcoming and helpful. Our family room was lovely, with a bath, rather than just a shower, which helped with washing our little boy. The location of our room was opposite Eireanne Buses...and above a night club, so Saturday night we barely slept (despite a very comfy bed). But it was an easy walk into Dublin, and the restaurant is great too. Good value for money...would try and get a room on the other side next time though!
Very enjoyable stay, Warm and very clean. The management and staff were very friendly helpful. Have stayed there before and will stay there again.
A nice and comfortable hotel in an ideal location near the town centre. The only drawback was our room at the back of the hotel was next to the Hostel so was a bit noisy at times.
Having stayed here a few times, I find this one the best hotels in Dublin for the price, easy location for the city centre & O2 arena, staff friendly and helpful, would recommend to anyone.
well positioned hotel , 10 minutes walk from O`Connell Street and opposite Airlink bus stop so transfer to and from airport in very convenient
great location bus station right outside very clean and tidy restaurant lovley and good value for money :)
The mini suite excellent and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitly recommend it. First Class !!!
Hotel bedroom could do with some updating , 12 EURO to. park our car in your carpark is a bit off putting as all other hotels we have stayed have been free to park . Only other negitive point is check out time being 11am , usually 12noon at other hotels . On a positive note , room was clean and comfortable and staff were nice .
Basic rooms but clean and well serviced. An ideal hotel if you don`t intend spending a lot of time in the hotel. Bar and restaurant are good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were of a nice size and the food in the restaurant was yummy scrummy and nicely priced. Drinks in the bar were cheaper than Temple Bar. Location was within walking distance of everything. Opposite bus station so easy to travel to Airport. Would stay here again for sure.
Brilliant service and very helpful front of desk a credit to the hotel, very clean bathroom and room 5 stars
the hotel its self is very nice staff pleasant i have stayed there before and reason for re booking but found room this time looked on to the trams was very noisy and foud it difficult getting to sleep & was woke up ealry with them re starting but my own fault for not asking to be moved.
Large clean rooms, with good facilities. Easy to get to from airport as bus station is directly opposite. Ate in the italian themed restaurant, excellent food. The only downside was our room was very close to main train line and also near a pub/bar so could be quite noisy.
Would deffo recommend this hotel, service was second to none, staff really friendly and very helpful, very clean, would deffo stay there again.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean modern spacious rooms well furnished and decorated with ensuite, 5 mins walk to Temple Bar / City Centre. Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay!
We enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Isaacs hotel. The room was clean and nicely furnished with a lovely comfortable bed. The location is good - just a few minutes walk to the town. The only downside is the noise - our room faced a busy railway line, and as the rooms have no double glazing you can hear each train. They do stop at 11pm, so there`s no noise during the night hours. Housekeeping staff were very efficient - although they did like to knock the door quite early - but are happy to call back later in the day. I would use this hotel again if I could get a room on the quieter side of the building.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was excellent with good water pressure and temperature. The busport opposite could have been more convenient to get to and from the airport. The hotel restaurant was able to cster for my gluten free diet. I would come back without hesitation!
Maybe people like yourselves could persuade the authorities to do something about the toilets at Busaras. They are a horrendous experience for a visitor.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was delightful. At such a low price, we didn`t have too high expectations but were pleasantly surprised. No complaints whatsoever.
Hotel was lovely, with minimal noise from the nearby road or bus station. Staff were generally pleasant. My only bugbear was the visit from housekeeping at 7am. This error was resolved in a mediocre fashion. When my partner queried it with reception, at our first opportunity, he was initially treated in a belligerent, almost defensive manner by the receptionist. He was quickly `removed` by his colleague, who apologised profusely and offered to investigate. He amswered our query the next morning and once again apologised on behalf of the hotel. All in all, a pleasant hotel with mostly pleasant staff.
hotel was lovely and very central to most things, staff were friendly, little noisy on a night could hear some music from somewhere but i still slept fine it was clean and was cleaned every day would reccomend this hotel and would go back every time.
I`ve stayed in this hotel for my last 2 trips to Dublin and will do so again. The rooms are spacious, beds comfy, and staff helpful. Fair enough it`s not the Waldorf Astoria, but for the money you pay - you can`t really pick faults. Didn`t have breakfasts this time (dieting!) but highly recommend that from my 1st visit too! The Luas tram stops just along from the hotel & the bus station is across the road too (airport bus stops there). Only 5 mins walk to O`Connell Street. We had a back room the 1st visit and had some noise from the hostel at the back - but requested a front room this time and we got one no problem. Tea/Coffee, toiletries & hairdryer in room. TV also. Extra pillows in room, thick blackout curtains and constant hot water for bath/shower also a plus!!
location of hotel is excellent..hotel itself was clean and modern.hotel rooms were well fitted out and spacious..the only down side is the noise from the bus depot across the street.the rooms at the front need their windows double glazed..on the upside the breackfast in the morning is lovely and the dining room is charming with its funny ceiling..the waiting staff couldnt do enough for you,so i would gladly use this hotel again
Only complaint was the location of our bedroom on the first night, ie. above a nightclub. When I complained it was dealt with promptly.
The room was warm and very clean, breakfast was full and plenty, the staff and managment were very friendly and helpfull. Would stay there again.
This hotel is ideally situated for Dublin The hotel in very nice the decor is really good and the rooms are goood value for money. all the things you want really clean good beds amazing power showers I would say we where here for four nights doing the Marathon and the tv could have done with free view but you can`t have everything resturaunt was also nice and good value If we do go back to Dublin i would deffinetly stay in this hotel great value for money. nice touch with the free massage for Runners.
