Great hotel walking distance to all theatre`s and other attractions . Will definitely use this hotel the next time.

Hotel situated a couple of minutes from Holborn tube station. We easily walked to Covent Garden in about 10 minutes and to the theatres . Great breakfast, comfortable bed and room. Shower was slightly underpowered when temp turned up but this was a small niggle and may have been due to the time of day. Recommend this hotel and we would stay again

Beautiful hotel staff are delightful,only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer.

Our room on Great Queen Street was noisy, especially on Friday night. Earplugs are no luxury. It is well positioned and the staff are very eager, if somewhat overwhelmed at times. Tip: avoid paying minibar prices for small bottles of water. Opposite the hotel front entrance is a shop open 24hrs selling water and much more...

The hotel staff were really helpful & accommodating. The hotels rooms however are a little disappointing and could do with a refurbishment to bring them up to modern standards. Unfortunately my car was broken into after using the local NCP recommended by the hotel. This put a serious dampener on our special anniversary weekend and although the hotel were sympathetic I do hold them somewhat responsible for there recommendation. .

Everything about this hotel was great. Service, staff, food, room, cleanliness, all first rate. We were only here for one night but we had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and very professionally run. We will stay again when we come to London.

Excellent service from staff. Our room was spacious and clean. Knowing we were there for our anniversary when we returned from our evening out there were two cakes waiting for us in our room with a note - a nice touch. Would definitely stay again

Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfortable no complaints there. However I thought the service change on everything purchased at the hotel very annoying. Drinks bought in the bar expensive and then service charge on top and also charged on any meals including breakfast etc.

If you are looking for a quiet nights sleep this is not for you. Although not directly overlooking the street noise could be heard well into the early morning. Hotel room nice but overpriced

Been to Kingsway on numerous occasion and would highly recommend it, we love walking to the theatre and taking in the shops and views along the way. We ate in Chinatown after the show which was excellent as well,

This was a very good hotel whose staff did all they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The staff were friendly and the location outstanding. It was a 7 minute stroll to Covent Garden with all the entertainment you could want.

Beautiful hotel, lovely and clean, great staff and so close to West End saves money on taxis and tube fares.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms nice and quiet as requested. Could do with a little updating - decor a bit shabby in places, particularly bathrooms.

I have stayed at this hotel before albeit over 4 years ago. The location is great for most theatrebshows & Covent Garden shopping. It`s clean, well maintained and the staff are efficient and courteous. My Mother & I had a twin room but the beds were awful. Beautifully made upon entrance but they dipped hugely. So much so that as i laid down the mattress squashed so much I could feel the hardness of the divan underneath! I tossed and turned all night long. Very old and in need of replacing - the main reason we needed the hotel, `a bed for the night` was very disappointed.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. The only thing I was not quite happy with was a service charge at the bar for two drinks that I purchased. Thought that a bit odd considering I went to the bar, ordered and carried my drinks to my table. Also the barman did not know how to do a Rose` spritzer with lemonade. Was given a glass of wine and a small bottle lemonade.

Will definitely book to stay again. The staff are lovely and so helpful. The room was smaller than expected looked a lot bigger on the pictures but lovely. The bed was so comfortable

Hotel rooms and bathrooms are in need of a little updating. However, the `handy` mobile in the room was amazing and helped us to get around London easily, we loved this addition! The free 4G through the handset was invaluable.

A very good hotel with friendly staff & high quality rooms. It is situated in a very convenient position for Londons Theatre shows & the vibrant Covent Garden area. A very reasonably priced hotel that we wouldn`t hesitate to use in the future.

The hotel looks very smart from the outside and even the lobby area promises so much however, the cupboard-size room was very hot, there was no AC and we could not open the windows. Two single beds pushed together does not make a double. What it does is leave an uncomfortable gap in the middle. We will not be spending our hard-earned money on this hotel again.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were superb. Breakfast was excellent and the staff once again very attentive. The room, though a little dated, was very clean and tidy and had everything we required from the tea tray to mini bar, lovely soft fresh towels each day. The Jacquzzi was lovely, very clean and hot. Location could not have been better. Central for everything we needed to do and a ten minute walk from the tube. We will use Hotels Direct again. Thank you :)

I don`t know why when you brought drinks at the bar with cash you were charged a 15% service charge. There was also a 15% service charge added to the cost of breakfast. This took the edge of a wonderful stay at a very good hotel. Room was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. As I say why do they have to add a 15% service charge, why not just include it in the price.

Great hotel very clean staff excellent. Breakfast and dinner very nice but I do object to being charged a15% service charge on the evening meal. I like to reward staff with what "I" think appropriate not have it dictated to me.

Nicest hotel I have stayed in in London. Very central to station and easy to get around shopping and theatre area. Nice rooms and comfy beds and excellent friendly staff

The hotel is situated in a great area, 5 minute walk to covent garden, a 3 minute walk from holburn station and about an 8 minute walk to the shaftsbury theatre

Hassle free checking in , room very clean with all facilities you may need i.e. tea coffee, iron with ironing board ,hairdryer,safe and minibar .Hotel staff very welcoming and friendly ,nothing too much trouble .Hotel is situated in an ideal location to main attractions and theatres within walking distance. Considering its in the hub of everything it was surprisingly quiet .We travelled to London via the train and used the local bus to get to the hotel with no problems .The hotel is within easy walking distance from tube station and bus stops . Thank you for a great hassle free break and would recommend direct hotels to family and friends also I would have no hesitation in booking with them again .

lovely welcome from friendly staff, arrived a little early and room was ready- even got a free upgrade to a suite - which was fab! Ate at the Indian opposite- best curry I`ve had! Close to the theatre, Covent Garden and the picadilly line for travelling the whole of London- have stayed here before and will definitely stay again!!!

Super location. Great size room. Friendly staff. Shame about the lack of hot water for 5 days only Luke warm water in bathroom basin, although shower temperature was great.
