We had a pleasant stay. We booked this hotel to take out 2 year old niece to London to see the lights. We booked a family room which was on the ground floor. We found it quite noisy with people walking around until early hours and someone was hoovering outside our room around 5am which did wake up our niece. The room was very comfortable though and we did enjoy our stay.

Would highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are cozy and lovely. Staff offers excellent service. Location is perfect to see London.

This was my first visit to the UK and the wonderful hotel experience in London was a high spot. The room was very comfortable with all amenities. The grill restaurant offerings for breakfast were consistantly fresh and plentiful. The staff really made our stay special. Any request was taken care of quickly and with a smile. They also helped with day tours, directions to major sites, recommendations for shopping and pubs. The front desk staff also took care of faxing legal docs for me back home to Canada. All in all, I recommend St. Ermins highly. I only hope I can return in the near future. Thanks to all who made our stay so lovely.

St Ermin`s is a very nice hotel, located in a convenient location (near St James Tube and close to the Palace), clean, nice staff. We didn`t get such a nice view (faced an alley with a dumpster), and for the price we would have expected Wi-Fi to have been included for free but...

Very impressed with the high standard of the recent refurbishment

The recent refurbishment of St.Ermins sees everything new and in excellent working order. Our room was fabulous, albeit a little light on for hanging space for our clothes but that is the only thing we found a little less that desired. Our room was one of the smaller rooms but we believe other rooms in the hotel wouldn`t have that issue. Very close to all major tourist attractions. Wouldn`t hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends and will certainly stay there again when next in London.

Staff were wonderful. the hotel is probably the best we have stayed in after Jumeria Beach Hotel,we were upgraded to an executive room, this was wonderful and the bed was the most comfortable I had ever been in. for the price we paid we only wished we had stayed longer,highly rate this hotel and its quiet location, will definetly return

Stayed 5 nights.,Exellent location, lovely hotel, but reception could have done better. We were 3 people in the room, and had only two sets of towels each day. We had to ask reception for more, with variable results, ending up leaving notes on the bathroom shelf to make sure towels were proveded.

A real gem - with lovely staff.

The hotel is very well presented, and rooms are clean, well equipped and furnished.The staff are friendly and helpful. We had minor problems with the TV (sound came and went on BBC 1 and 2), and the toilet cistern was erratic. Otherwise no problems, and would recommend to fiends.

Room was clean and very comfortable with everything you could need provided. Would love to stay again!

I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel. My mother, my daughter and I, have just returned after celebrating her 85th birthday, in London. The St. Ermin Hotel was the icing on the cake. Although it is quite expensive, we feel that it was worth every penny. From the way we were greeted, to our send off, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has had a grear deal of money spent on it recently, so everything is fresh and clean, but it was the staff as much as anything that helped to make our stay so special. We enjoyed the coctails, with expert guidance from the bar manager, to suite our individual tastes. Our afternoon tea was served early, to accomodate the time that our train left for home. Advice was given freely on the best way to reach our trip destinations.This was all achieved in a friendly manner. .All in all we had a very good experiance, and we look forward to staying there again.

We haven`t been in London in over 35 years, and were looking forward to coming back. We saw the hotel on the Internet, booked `blindly` and were MOST PLEASANTLY SURPRISED`. All three of us (my husband and 19 year-old daughter) had a fabulous time since we landed. The hotel was just great. Good location, beautifuly renovated, quiet and comfortable rooms, supremely clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely recommend this hotel, and indeed already done so by writing a review on Tripadvisor. Looking forward to returning to London soon, and to stay at this gprgeous hotel.

Easy to find. Great location for visiting attractions.

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of days with my family and we had a lovely stay. The room was very clean and beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful. One of them spoke fluent Italian and always available to assist us. Great location 2 mins walk from the tube and 10 mins walk from Westmister! I would highly recommend this hotel

Close to St James Park which affords quick transport to London City and its attractions. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hotel is superb. Location - excellent and the ambience is fantastic.

With four days of sightseeing planned with two teenagers we had a Deluxe Double Double room that was ideal for our family to share. Excellent location with tube access practically on the doorstep providing travel around London speedily. We did not make use of the hotel facilities but from our observations it was a very comfortable and friendly hotel that welcomed all and made avery effort to fulfill guests requirements. We would definetly recommend St Ermins and already have plans to return.

A fantastic Hotel. Deserves 5 stars. Was upgraded to a suite, which was great. Myself, my daughter and grandaughter were on a theatre weekend. The staff were very attentive, polite and very efficient. Our room was ready immediately so we could relax straight away. The quality of the room and the food in the dining room was excellent. Highly recommend St Ermins and will certainly stay with you again.

newly refurbished

The hotel has been recently renovated and is not quite finished. The aircon in our first room was non functional and once reported, we were immediately transferred to another room and everything was fine thereafter. The dining facilities are low key but that was not an issue as there are several local venues for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We particularly liked a small Italian around the corner on Victoria Street. Yes, we enjoyed our stay and would be delighted to return to St. Ermins.

Stayed here for a friends birthday, great location tube station is a two minute walk from the hotel. The service was spectacular, staff are very friendly and definitely a service with a smile kind of place. As it was my friends birthday the hotel surprised us all with a chocolate cake and wine. The decor is great and had a fab time. Will stay there again!

Great location for my visit to the Parliament. Very friendly staff. Beautiful room, very good bed. Enjoyed my stay very much.

Although the refurbishment was not completely finished when we stayed, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The refurb is to a very high standard, the staff were attentive and it`s in a great location . We stayed in a triple room which accommodated the three of us brilliantly (2 bathrooms!) Would definitely stay here here again and reccommend it highly. The only negative we had was that due to refurb not yet 100 per cent completed we were awoken on Sunday morning by drilling directly outside our window.

We have been to this hotel several times before and have always enjoyed our stay but it was starting to get very run down. It have now been refurbished and it was fantastic from when we entered to when we left the staff where brilliant and the decoration has made a huge difference I will definitely go again and recommend this hotels to friends and family, go and enjoy.

We stayed for 2 nights. We were upgraded to a suite free of charge because the hotel refurbishment was still in progress and our double room was not ready. The bed was very comfortable. The decor was pleasant and there was a large TV. The bathroom was very clean and the only disappointment was the small amount of water which came out of the shower. The staff were plentiful and helpful. Breakfast was good but did not have as much variety on offer as I`ve seen in similar rated hotels. The hotel is in a great location for sight seeing.

My Boyfriend and I stayed in London for a long weekend and St Ermins was in the perfect location for sightseeing. Friendly staff and beautifully decorated with period features.

Stayed one night over new year excellent location walking distance to many major attractions very friendly and welcoming staff wonderful bar with open fires great old world feel would deffinately stay again

I would say very good due to friendly helpful staff, very good buffet breakfast, rooms clean and reasonable size and situation. Look forward to seeing the refurbishment in the spring. Lovely building with many features - cornicing, staircase etc - to be admired.

On arrival and departure staff were extremely helpful. Room could do with being re-decorated.
