Such a lovely place, all staff were so nice could not fault them on anything. I wanted to bring my bed home so comfortable. such a quiet place even tho you are stones throw from Oxford st and a 20 min stroll to the theatre. Will come back and recommend this hotel to all I know.
We loved this hotel, it was a little old fashioned in places. Very clean, lovely breakfasts cooked to order. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.
Really enjoyed our stay and was made very welcome. Got upgraded too plus a cake for my wife`s birthday. A really nice touch.
Lovely hotel ideally located for the west end of London. Staff very friendly and attentive.
rooms are comfortable and well appointed though a bit cramped. We have stayed in the hotel on three different occasions and each time the room seemed to be smaller. However, we will certainly be back.
The hotel and facilities are pretty good . Our room was on the small side . Upset about the lack of free Wi - Fi . We have travelled around many continents in good hotels all who provide free Wi fi. So £6 an hour or £15 a day is a total rip off. Lift broke down and hence bags had to be carried up and down stairs - many apologies but maybe a free drink at the bar would have been more appropriate . Overall a very good location for museums and theatres .
Expensive being in London but very friendly and looked after us excellently.
Would thoroughly recommend the Rathbone Hotel to anyone. Great location. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Will stay again in the future.
6 of us stayed for 1 night in April for my hen celebrations. The staff were welcoming and friendly and embraced the hen festivities. Would recommend this hotel and would stay again in the future.
We had a lovely room and the food was great, every member of staff we spoke to were very polite and helpfull, thank you.
Service and staff very nice and helpful. That`s about the only good comment. Hotel is dated poor double room. AC not working. Dull furniture and fittings. Poor decorating. This hotel cannot justify the prices it charges. Would have rather stayed in a Premier Inn.
Hotel located in good distance from the theatre. Very clean and comfortable, everything we needed for a short stay. All staff very friendly and accommodating.
Comfortable stay, albeit the bathroom and majority decor is now a Little well used and tired. Front of house staff very pleasant and obliging. However, I feel the breakfast service was exceptionally slow, the chef might like to speed up the process. Great location and excellent restaurant within close proximity.
First class hotel, great beds, great breakfast, fantastic friendly staff We will defiantly stay again
Staff were so friendly, welcoming and could not do enough. Room smelt so lovely as we walked in. Spacious with a comfortable bed.
Rooms very small and requiring maintenance very shabby Staff very helpful
The decoration of the hotel is a little tired and needs updating The staff were all very good and friendly. The bedroom was very disappointing and should not be sold for two people occupation. On rereading booking details and hotel description then I should not have booked that room but I would not expect to to be offered that room/bed for two adults. The bed was too small. My experience will make me wary of using the service again.
Decor in the room was dated. However the location of hotel was great but i would not choose to stay there again .
Junior Double Room is a 4ft 6inch bed, which is too small for 2!!
Location good but no heat in bathroom and due to badly fitting windows and no double glazing very noisy
This hotel was lovely, everything you would want in the bedroom, breakfast the next day was delicious, lots of choice and very good service. Hope to stay there again.
Excellent .......
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, building work going on outside all night, god knows why, consequently very disturbed sleep, not the fault of the hotel, would stay again, hopefully the building work would be finished by then
We had a suite room which was very comfortable, fluffy robes, good standard of housekeeping. Decor a bit 1990`s in places but can easily be forgiven. Great staff - everyone we encountered was top notch professional & made my husband`s 50th birthday really special. Nice bar area. Great restaurants within walking distance & 10% food discount available a some of them
Room supposed to be available from 2pm, turned up at 2:15 and still had wait 30mins, insisted on taking a £30 deposit credit card payment even though we had already paid in full. Room was very dated and tiny...no way this was 4 star!
Nice cozy hotel everything easily accessible.
super hotel would stay there again
Short walk from hotel to theatre. Hotel is away from busy roads with many restaurants along the way. Hotel is quiet. Polite friendly staff. All facilities are excellent. Breakfast highly recommended.
Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Executive room disappointing, plugs inaccessible, no mirror close to dry hair, no bedside tables.
Lovely hotel set back from main road. Staff friendly and helpful.
Really friendly service comforable room loveley lication snd breakfast. Woud come again thank you Mr mrs McGloin
The hotel was lovely very comfortable and cosy room. Our only disappointment was bar prices, although my husband expects to pay London prices for bottle beer we were shocked to have to pay £7.00 for a Martini Rosso and then £3.00 for a top up of Lemonade, this is exorbitant and spoilt what had been a lovely day and evening at the show. We would stay there again but probably not have drinks.
