it was our wedding anniverdsary and they gave us balloons in the room with wine and champagne for breakfast, very nice touch.

Park plaza was great, right within walking distance to major attractions.staff were so friendly, the room was lovely and breakfast was great. We had dinner in their italian restaurant and it was top notch.we would definetly stay again.couldnt fault our stay.

The staff at the reception desk always seemed to be distracted when servicing and could not give me their full attention. Rest of the staff throughout the hotel were excellent and very polite. Meals available at the hotel were of very high quality with no faults

The room was lovely and we were up graded so even nicer. But sadly the pipe duct in the room was so noisy my husband was awake all night. Which sadly was not objective of a night in town.

We were welcomed with friendly manner. We also like the hotel which will definitely come again and recommend it to others.

Arrived at hotel and was dealt with promptly. ALL the staff were absolutely wonderful and could not do enough to help us. The only problem was that we specifically chose the hotel to have a view of the London eye and it was written in our booking details to have a floor higher up and with a view but unfortunately we were just looking out to the other side of the hotel directly opposite which was a shame being so close to it. I did ask if we could be moved and the receptionist did try very hard but the manager would not agree to it. When we came back from dinner the receptionist had written us a card and left a lovely bottle of red wine for us. Really nice of her. The restaurant was outstanding and our waiter who was italian was just amazing. He recommended various dishes and was very knowledgeable on everything. He gave us the sort of service that we have only had in top restaurants in Italy. Thank you so much to everyone at the Park Plaza. Really Really great.

I`d use this hotel again. All the staff were polite, friendly and looking to please. It`s location (2 minutes walk from Westminster Bridge, 5 minutes walk from Waterloo Station) is perfect for sight-seeing. Only thing to be wary of are the bar which I thought was a bit pricey and the breakfast which I thought was rather average (the full-English was a buffet and I thought the food rather bland and lukewarm).

Excellant service - Staff excelled in meeting or needs and were very aware of our visit timetable and even put a complimentary bottle of wine in our room once they new it was my wifes birthday. I would thoroughly recommend them unloke some hotels hat take no interest in there gueste. Top place

Comfortable and staff helpful

I was surprised that a modern hotel had such difficulty in providing breakfast. We had to queue for some time before we could be allocated a table and there was still a queue when we left the restaurant approaching 11 am. The problem was not due to the staff , a lack of capacity seemed to be the main issue. I have stayed in hotels all the world and not experienced problems of this nature before.

Our standard room got upgraded to a studio apartment which was a wonderful surprise. Also very close to London eye. Queue for table for breakfast but helped by friendly member of staff - Blessing - who brought round orange juice in shot glasses and pastries, whilst we waited. Blessing by name, blessing by nature! Would recommend hotel to friends and would return next time we visit London

Air con made room cold...long queues for breakfast but good location.

The rooms here are lovely, the location is fantastic for hitting central London and walks along the River. Staff were very helpful and friendly and it could not have been better.

This Hotel is well situated and of a good standard in terms of decor and friendliness of the staff. Our only issue with the Hotel was breakfast where they don`t have enough space to accommodate everyone and despite being at breakfast an hour before it closed we couldn`t get any rolls which being on a continental breakfast rate was a little odd. Also if I was picky the lobby area was small to accomodate the number of guests checking in and out.

Such a good hotel, so convenient for the South Bank (and 10 minute walk to Spamalot). They serve breakfast till 11am and check out is at 12, so relaxing on a Sunday morning. Thank you Hotel Direct.
