Will recommend to everyone
Other than above it was very good
was not impressed with our room .Bed was stuck against wall and my husband and i are disabled .Had a very poor nights sleep
Room on the small side but adequate, everywhere was clean and efficient.
Great hotel in a perfect location the whole hotel is well presented and spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful when I next visit London I will definitely stay at the strand palace
Good hotel, clean, nice restaurant and close to theatre land.
The hotel exceeded my expectations considering the cost and location. Very good standard of fixtures & fittings and high standard of cleanliness. Only downside for me was the loud neighbours, partying until 3am - so not a great night`s sleep.
A clean and tidy hotel, no special luxury and quite a little room. Missed the possibility to iron my shirt in our room
This is my second stay, great location to walk to galleries, shops and restaurants. You get what you pay for. Food in the Indian restaurant is excellent. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Only issue is the lifts keep breaking down
My favourite London hotel be far.
I was meeting friends in town and didn`t want to travel home alone. This hotel was the perfect solution. And cheaper than a travelodge!!! Amazing!
We were looking for an hotel that was central and close to the theatre district and the embankment. This hotel could not have been better. We were greeted on arrival by very friendly receptionists and also the doorman was very polite. The room was clean and we were also asked if we would like a low or high floor. We had a very nice time and would definitely use this hotel again.
Would have been excellent but for a bathroom door that would not close (Room 676)
As we have stayed at the hotel on numerous occasions we once again enjoyed our latest stay, the reception staff were very helpful indeed.
The standard of the hotel was overall really good, but what let it down was the large queue for breakfast in the morning We also had to wait for fifteen minutes to leave our bags in the luggage locker - they had run out of tickets. But all that aside the Hotel was great and I would return again
My only criticism is the bar prices. ..otherwise everything else was excellent. ..
Excellent! good service, Nice room! HUGE! very comfortable bed just what you need after a hard days shopping!!!!!! would book again without a second thought. Doug & Lyn Woodhouse
A great location , very friendly staff and if you book the full English breakfast you will not be disappointed. Our room faced out onto the Strand opposite the Savoy Hotel. We kept getting up to look at the view . Would stay there again.
Staff was not so friendly, very crowdy in the hotel. A lot of noice during the whole night in hall en rooms on the floor. And we had a room at the streetside...during the night a lot of noice from there 2...woke up 2mornings at 4am!
Excellent central location, rooms very clean and comfortable, everything you need in a city hotel, can be rather long queues for breakfast when the hotel is very full. The carvery is good value and the Christmas decorations were lovely, the staff were helpful and we would definitely stay there again.
good location, great breakfast, and nice rooms.
Hotel was wonderful. Room was clean and breakfast was delicious. 5 mins walk to theatres and Trafalger Square. Just what we were looking for.
I have stayed at The Strand Palace many times now, always in a twin bedded room. I wouldn`t stay anywhere else now. The hotel is lovely clean and comfortable. The food is good and the staff are extremely helpful. It is ideally situated with bus stops over the road, and a short walking distance to Charing Cross Station. I would highly recommend this Hotel.
This hotel is reasonably good it`s in an excellent location, the rooms are small but clean and well equipped and the staff are helpful. However The Carvery restaurant breakfasts and evening meals food leave allot to be desired.
very good
a nightmare
Hotel is larger than I expected and fairly busy. Considering how busy the hotel is there was no long ques at reception or breakfast hall. I had a single room it was clean comfortable and fairly modern.. Wooden shutters on the windows which kept the room quiet and warm and no sunlight streaming in. Hotel also located in a great location, restaurants, shops, theatres all around.. Lots of taxis and buses and only a few minutes walk from train and underground stations.. Also really well located for covent garden which is just behind the hotel only 3 minute walk.. Trafalgar Square is also close by.. For the price a I would go back..
Disappointing to have to queue to check bags into left luggage on final morning and even more disappointing to have to queue yet again to get them out in the afternoon. For a hotel of this size and reputation there should be security in the lifts - ie the room key operates the lift to prevent non-residents from riding. A scruffy-looking man entered our lift on Saturday night and he did not look like a resident. Security should be paramount. Doorman was not helpful when we asked if he could locate a cab for us on Sunday afternoon even though he had been doing this for other residents during our stay. So we flagged down our own cab.
friendly and efficient staff, comfortable modern room
Considering the price for a king size executive room, the bathroom was very small and room layout wrong! This room was next to cleaners room so noise early in the morning. Disappointed.
