Situated a minute`s walk from the train station and on the edge of the main shopping quarter of the city, the location`s great. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient and the room was spotless. Maybe I got lucky, but my double room was extremely large. Check-in was effortless and check-out took seconds. Extremely good value for money.
Apart from a party going on during the middle of the night a few doors away, the stay was fine !
For the price I paid for my room I was not expecting too much but I have no complaints. 24 hour checki in meant arriving at 1am was no problem and check in was efficient even at that time of the morning. My room was on floor 10 so there was no traffic or street noise and was small but clean and had everything I needed, bathroom likewise. Would stay again.
Myself and a few friends stayed last weekend and cannot fault either the price, staff or accomidation many thanks will be back in the future
Shower out of use sink tap not attached corridors very noisy pedestrian traffic
12 in our party & we all had a good 2 days .hotel was very nice & staff was very helpful & pleasant . hotel is in a good spot very near to a very good restaurant [bibi,s] & near to all the shops
On last day of stay, an email is always sent just before 7am asking for a review. Designed to wake anyone up so has mobile communication. Would be good if the email request could be sent later during the day!
very convenient and close to all amenities, clean and staff friendly
Comfortable nights stay, room was nice, bed was comfortable large bathroom and in the centre of Leeds would definiateky reccomend it and will stay there again
The accomodation provided everything we needed for our stay. A comfortable bed for the night with basic facilities. A good location set in the shopping district and close to the Corn exchange for a night out. I would definately use again because of the value for money!
No real problems and found breakfast fine for the price.
I recommend, this basic, yet friendly, clean and value for money hotel in the centre of Leeds.
GOOD ROOM ,CLEAN AND TIDY CLOSE TO MOST BARS AND TRAIN STATION
It is in a good location and value for money for shops and general sight seeing.Have to say a big thank you to all the staff - who made us feel very welcome, very helpful and friendly.Highly recomended.
we would recommend this hotel, just parking that was expensive, it cost £11.50 for over night park.
Staff were excellent, however the room smelt upon first entry, I was reluctant to take a shower as it didn`t look to a good standard. Room itself was free from dust but when I pulled back the sheets there looked to be some brown burnt iron marks. Kept awake all night by the creaking of coridoors and other guests as the floor feel very unsolid. Not a good nights sleep, doubt I will return unless everywhere else is booked up.
the bed was a bit ricketey. a cheap and nasty two part put together from the bargain shop.broken wardrobe, with ni door.would benifit with proper quilts instead of blankets and sheets.when i arrived there was paint tins and painting equiptment directley outside the lift.this posed a safetey problem in my opinion.the painters were rude and noisy and using bad language.the telivision was not recieving very well! should be rated as a bed and breakfast not a hotel.
Also room 715 backs onto a wall and has very little natural light.
great location, no hassle & good staff
Reading previous reviews I beg to wonder whether people were staying at the same hotel. Staff were very pleasant. Rooms and bedding clean and warm, breakfast adequate.
Convenient, quiet, pleasant staff, reasonable price. But the mattress was lumpy and the breakfast coffee is appalling.
Very bright, clean basic hotel. Bedrooms are airy, light and "soundproofed" - much appreciated as it is directly opposite the station! Buffet breakfast just what is needed for holiday makers or people on business. Will stay here in the future.
Not long after we checked in the room next door was occupied by what we thought were a hen party. We asked at reception and although the staff were friendly assured us it wasn`t a hen party but a birthday party and the mother was staying in the room next door. We returned at approx 1830 and for the next 4 hours were disturbed every 10mins by people visiting the mother. This continued until 2300 hrs and started again at 0230hrs and lasted until 0500hrs and started again at 0800hrs. Itwas almost like a brothel , there is no way the staff couldn`t hear what was going on. It spoilt our weekend.
Very easy to find very convieniently placed in town center
Nice big room with very comfortable bed, but decor distinctly dated and tatty. nonetheless, clean and adequate and reasonable value for the fee.
In a very good location. Just beside railway but without the noise this entails and 2 min walk to shops. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Tops.
Shower was out of order. Main light in main room not working. Otherwise nice.
room clean and tidy, equipped with essentials. Bathroom ceiling full of black mould and cracks across ceiling.
