We have stayed in a few Hotels in London and this one comes out top of the list. The staff were so pleasant and helpful in fact they could not enough for you. The breakfast was excellent, everything was fresh and appetising. Thank you Cumberland!
Lovely hotel, kind and helpful staff. Good value for money and would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Very convenient transport system less than a minute from tube station and few min walk to both cycle hire and bus transport. Friendly staff, great rooms! Beautiful lobby! Amazing bars! Oh i loved every minute of it. Last but not least variety of delicious breakfast
Good value hotel with excellent facilities. Would certainly stay again.
Great stay great location easy to find tube right beside you
Took advantage of an "introductory" offer price and had a really nice time. The room was excellent, along with the breakfast and indeed the location.
Shower door would not shut so bathroom became very wet. Only 2 sachets of coffee in the room for the whole weekend. Room was very cold & at breakfast we had to ask for cutlery & also had to ask for coffee as the waitress staff was not very attentive
Great shower, nice staff, nice room, most comfortable bed :) Would definitely recommend to friends or family, though I am glad we didn`t pay the full price of £149, as quoted on hotel website, though very happy to have paid £95.
The room was very comfortable with good facilities.
Excellent central location lose to Marble Arch. Good modern hotel which was a bargain deal with Hotel Direct. It can be muh more expensive.
Great location
Website stated breakfast included, however when we got conformation through was room only and had to pay extra
Great location... would definitely return!
Great location, right by tube station. Excellent front of house team, - welcome outside front doors, and desk staff numerous and most efficient. Spacious, clean, good room and comfortable beds. Nothing to complain of really.
The only thing I was disappointed in was breakfast. Pot of coffee was left on table and then removed by waitress when we hadn`t finished. Sausages were undercooked. Didn`t see marmalade anywhere. We were lucky to get in to breakfast at around 9 a.m. but if we had left it any later, there was a huge queue.
Hotel breakfast was really good. Rooms average - didn`t like the massive minimalist reception area - just like an airport check in.
Room smaller than expected but no complaints regarding facilities. Awful pillows. Excellent breakfast having followed advice to get there early. Helpful and accommodating staff.
We were particularly impressed with the fact that we were upgraded to an executive room as the room we were given was over the bar and would have been rather noisy on Saturday night as there was a party at the hotel. This upgrade was offered by your check-in desk , very thoughtful . No doubt we we will back for another weekend stay at The Cumberland .
room clean and quite adaquate for our needs, we booked breakfast both mornings and the choice was great, on sat morning the place was busy, but come sunday morning there was a queue a mile long (well nearly) altho i have to say it did move pretty quickly and once again the food was superb.
Staff friendly hotel very clean rooms comftable breakfast very good would recommend this hotel
The room was well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Restaurant excellent. Breakfast good value for money. Lots off staff, anxious to aassist if needed. We will happily use this hotel again next time we want to stay in this part of London.
all staff very helpful particularly at breakfast in the brasserie.Concierge service very helpful and pleasant to deal with.Overall a 3 night stay in modern surroundings which we look forward to repeating in the future
Good location and worth the stay if you can get a cheap deal through one of the hotel discount sites. The bedrooms are average at best and some of the bathrooms are looking very tired.
My only negative observation is that the inside rooms are very noisy. This was a surprise 60th Birthday present, as I worked as a Houskeeper at the Hotel in the 70`s - The decor was a little to modern for my taste.
tiny double room - 514 in builidng next to Cumberland - no room to walk round bed and everything tight up against bed. very dissapointing for three sleepless nights.
myself, husband and two friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your Hotel. The rooms were modern and clean. Staff very friendly, helpful and effecient
Great location, nice size rooms for central London and good price. Problem: no hot water in the morning for a shower. I complained but was told that this was a problem in the area - no offer of compensation. This may have been a one-off issue, but it was inconvenient.
Very tiny double bedroom with the bed pushed tight again the wall and only one chair but lovely decor and an excellant breakfast.
Fab location right outside marble arch tube station. Lovely clean modern and contemporary hotel. We were given a free upgrade to an executive room which never ever happens to us so that was such a fabulous gesture. We will definitley stay again and perhaps bring the children next time. Bed was huge too and very comfy Zzzzzzzzzz
I couldn`t fault this hotel. Right next to a main Tube station, lovely modern rooms and great breakfast. The hotel was very busy when we went and we had to queue for lifts and breakfast but I would expect that from any big hotel in a busy city like London. Would definitely stay again
Lovely, modern ,spacious hotel in perfect position for visiting London or shopping.Beautiful bathroom, modern bedroom and good service made this an excellent stay.Sunday breakfast was a little chaotic as there was a shortage of cutlery but that was only a small thing compared to the lovely touches at the hotel.
We stayed just one night but really didn`t want to leave. Excellent location for the shops or Hyde Park. Not far from Theatre Land. Great place for all the family.
Ideally located. Marble Arch across the road. Oxford Street shopping and cafes on the main Road. Parking very nearby. 2 tube stations nearby easy walking distance (few mins) the hotel has everything you could want and need for your stay. Climate control in rooms. Staff friendly and professional. We had a great stay and would definately stay here again and recommend.
enjoyed our stay as very central & nearby tube line, obviously a very large & busy hotel. dining room felt a little like a large school dining area. we were able to check in an our early which was a huge benefit as by 3pm the queues were long & people appeared to have a very long wait. on our 3rd day there was a problem with the heating & hot water, we reported this as it was our last day on checking out it was explained there was a problem in other rooms & we were given an apology.
