The hotel was in a perfect position to reach everything by foot ( with sensible shoes) the room were immaculate and staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly ... Beds were so somfortable with luvly fluffy quilts and extra pillows ...big fluffy towels and not a Spek of dust in sight ...highly recommended :-))

We have never felt so well looked after by any hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. All the staff were so cheerful and friendly and our room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room was clean and very modern. We will definitely go back again one day.

Outstanding hotel in great location. Overall service was outstanding. Two minor annoyances 1. Arrived early and room was not available. Advised to return at 3:00 PM to receive key and luggage would be in the room. Returned at 3, entered the room, no luggage. Had to go downstairs twice to finally get someone to deliver my luggage. 2. Computer available to guests was extremely slow and the printer did not work. Other than these 2 minor issues, the hotel was outstanding. Would stay there again.

A lovely room which was an upgrade due to the special occasion we were celebrating that weekend. A lovely bedroom and bathroom and great food served in the restaurant. Breakfast was very good. When we go back to London we will be booking back in the Charring Cross. Can`t say better than that!

The Charing Cross has the most luxurious rooms I`ve ever stayed in, the location is perfect in the heart of London and the staff are some of the kindest and helpful people I have ever met!

I have stayed at many hotels both abroad and in the UK and I can honestly say that the staff of the Charring Cross are the most friendly and helpful of them all.

We were met by very friendly and helpful staff. Offered a soft drink as we checked in. Loved the grande decor and beautiful staircase. Room was huge, lovely bright and well fitted bathroom. The location was superb, just a few mins stroll from all the sights. The hotel kindly held on to our luggage when we checked out so we could enjoy the rest of the day. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

Have stopped here before and yet again we have had an amazing stay. The staff here are so friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Breakfast was beautiful and well worth booking. We will defiantly stay here again.

The staff, the comfort, the position of the hotel all fantastic. Staff could not do enough for us. very clean rooms with all you need to enjoy your stay. nice comfy bed. so close to all the major sites in london with out having to use the tube or buses. Recommend everyone try this hotel.

The staff at this hotel are so welcoming and genuinely so. Nothing is too much trouble and they all appear to love their jobs. The room was beautiful, wonderful waterfall shower, excellent guest facilities, breakfast was yummy!! Didn`t take advantage of the complimentary drinks as we were too busy shopping!! Will definitely be returning to this hotel and would recommend it to everyone. First class service from every member of staff we encountered. I booked this as a gift for my best friend`s 40th Birthday treat - thank you to all the staff for making our girlie break so wonderful.

Great hotel in the perfect central location. A warm welcome with a cool refreshing drink to start the stay. A lovely room with a huge comfortable bed and great bathroom. the staff are very polite and really helpful. There seems to always be a cool refreshing drink at reception, be it juice or even a lovely glass of fizz! The buffet breakfast was great and set us up for a hard day walking around all the sights. Will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and family.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed in this hotel & it gets better each time! From the moment we arrived [free cold drinks on checking in, most welcome] Miguel & Elena could not do enough offering a free room upgrade. The room 420 was superb having recently been refurbished. Each & everyone of the staff we spoke with were friendly,courteous & helpful. Would not hestitate to return

Overall I thought the accommodation was very good indeed. However, there does seem to be problems with their IT system as although I had £50 credit on my account when I requested drinks at the bar during the evening I was told I had no credit and I would therefore have to pay cash. When I spoke to the receptionist she told me there was a credit on my account and that I should not have been asked to pay at the bar for my drinks. She apologised and said that if the bar attendant had checked the system he should have seen the credit. All a bit late though.

We stayed in the hotel last evening after the Robbie concert!! Perfect venue for getting the boat up to the O2. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, nice touch of bubbly on arrival and a bottle if water to see you on your way! Rooms are recently refurbished and were clean and well presented. All facilities were great, and the cocktail bar was a great venue for the end to a perfect night . Look forward to treating ourselves again soon.

Had an amazing weekend with my sister celebrating our birthdays. We had a lovely room with really comfy beds and crisp, clean, white bed linen. All the staff were really happy and very helpful. Ten minutes after arriving there was a knock at the door, a complimentary bottle of wine and cake for our birthdays, such a lovely touch!! We will definitely be using this hotel for future visits to London although we will be booking direct with them as we were very disappointed to find out that it cost us an awful lot more booking through Hotel Direct!!!

You could not pick a better hotel for a London trip. Location is perfect for theatre and shopping, also site seeing as all are in walking distance. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Value for money. Spotlessly clean. Just perfect. We will definitely be returning next time in London.

A great location, beautiful hotel & charming, welcoming staff. Charing Cross hotel is a delight.

My first time to London for quite a while, the hotel was great, clean, good size of rooms, corridors, grand staircase, has a real sense of history about it. It is right above the station and whilst you feel the occassional rumble, it really isn`t an issue at all. Wife is a light sleeper and she never noticed. Breakfast was fine at the hotel and the staff were all really friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff and the concierge. The hotel is in a prime location for theatres, Trafalgar square, Leicester square and entertainments, it is right by a tube station so perfect for other parts of the capital. Without a moments hesitate we would happily return to this hotel for more, a fantastic three nights that only left us wanting more.

Fantastic and a mistake over breakfast led the hotel to offer us a suite WITH all food and drinks in at a bargain price of £50 for the 3 days. Well impressed

Brilliant location, good staff. All the staff were friendly and helpfull. Rooms are on the small side and you only get one small bathrobe??? Clean and warm. Executive lounge disappointing, very small for the amount of tables. Ran out of crisps at 4pm and female staff memember wouldnt refill the bowl? Free coffee, tea, wine, beers and soft drinks Downstairs toilets need updating. Breakfast was ok. Fantastic location for a couple of days in London.
